In Empyrean, a pile of discarded plastic packaging is given new use, transformed into a digital landscape. The view is framed through a video camera, and changing light sets the mood.
The work fluctuates between two- and three-dimensional states, appearing through seemingly self-replicating imagery that also reveals what is left out of sight.
